B 2-1
Life is a mixture of the sublime and the ludicrous, one without the other makes life not only unnatural and artificial but also impossible like a coin, with either the obverse or the reverse only.

B2-2
Good things happen to us when we deserve them and not when we desire them. However, to deserve them on a long term basis , we must continually desire, not them but the inherent and intrinsic goodness in them.

B2-3
A good conversation is an exercise in courtesy and an encounter in ease and camaraderie and companionship in an air of informality in which each is ever (at the) ready to exchange with the others in the group bons mots instead of bullets, praises instead of projectiles, gratitude instead of gunfire, endearments instead of hand grenades , morts justes instead of mortars and bonhomie instead of bombardment by way of his contribution to the spontaneous unfoldment of topics drifting into the flow of conversation—topics ranging from the most profound to the most frivolous and profane, but always lively vibrant and vivifying.
In the unlikely event of a dull moment of listless banality and /or vapid incipience threatening to punctuate the joyful tenor of the conversation or a serious issue of a contentious nature demanding to take centre stage or someone trying to hold the stage out of sheer indiscretion, sparkling wit and humor, spontaneously intervene to brighten the moment and lighten the atmosphere thereby elevating the mood of the whole group to its normal level. What make the otherwise uneventful and humdrum routine of life at once exciting and exhilarating are such friendly encounters and intellectual exchanges and the sweet lingering memories of those magical moments as also the eager anticipation of many an equally elevating as well as delightful session of communion and fellowship.
After all, they are the spice of life.
