 In Sanskrit the grand son's daughter is called naptri नप्त्री .

पुत्र: -- son

पुत्रस्य  पुत्र: :पौत्र:--grandson

पौत्रस्य पुत्र: नप्ता  grand son's son

पौत्रस्य पुत्री is नप्त्री napthree =Daughter of the grand son

व्यासं वसिष्ट नप्तारं शक्ते: पौत्रमकल्मषं 

पराशरात्मजं वन्दे शुकतातं तपोनिधिम्

वसिष्ट:-.शक्ति: -पराशर:  ---व्यास: -शुक: 

This is the lineage

salute the sage Vyasa , the great grand son of Vasista, grand son of shakti, son of parasara and the father of Suka.

Thank you Sir for this information, I was astonished to know Sanskrit is such an advanced landuage ,where we have beautiful terminology for such wonderful relationships. I also startled by the revelation that a person was known by his great grandfather's reference.Hats off to our language and precious ancient culture.
