सहायसाध्यं राजत्वं
चक्रमेकं न वर्तते
कुर्वीत सचिवान् तस्मा
त्तेषां च श्रुणुयान्मतम्
( कौटिल्यस्य अर्थशास्त्रम् – (3.7.6)
Sovereignty is possible only with assistance. Single
wheel can neither stand firmly nor move further. There fore, the king (leader)
shall employ assistants and listen to their advices.
సహాయసాధ్యం రాజత్వo
చక్రమేకం న వర్తతే
కుర్వీత సచివాన్ తస్మాత్
తేషాం చ శ్రుణుయాన్మతం
ఎంతటి రాజుకైనా ఇతరుల సాహాయ్యం వల్లనే
పనులు నెరవేరతాయి. ఒక్క చక్రం వేగంగా కదల లేదు. బట్టి రాజు మంత్రులను నియమిoచుకొని వారి
సలహాలను వినవలసి యుoటుoది. ఒంటరిగా ఏది సాధించలేడు.
