नदीस्तराम: न भयं स्मराम:
इतीरयन्तोsपि वने किराता:
मुक्तिं गता:
रामपदानुषङ्गात्
Some tribal robbers in a
jungle, boast of their adventures in the following manner. “We
roam in forests. We rob the wealth of others. We cross the rivers. We don’t
have fear of any body”. Despite the impolite talk and unlawful behavior, they attained salvation as they repeatedly
uttered the holy name, ‘Rama’ unknowingly.
వనే చరామ: వాసు చాహరామ:
నదీ స్తరామ: న భయం స్మరామ:
ఇతీరయంతోSపి వనే
కిరాతా:
ముక్తిం గతా:
రామపదానుషంగాత్
అడవిలో కిరాతకులైన కొంతమంది
బందిపోటు దొంగలు ఇలా అనుకుంటున్నారు. “మేము అడవిలో స్వేచ్ఛగా సంచరిస్తాం. ధనం, సంపదలు కొల్లగొడతాం. నదులన్నీ ఈదుకుoటూ
దాటేస్తాం. మేమెవరినీ లెక్కచెయ్యం, ఎవరికీ భయపడం” ఈ విధంగా వారు చెడ్డబుద్ధితో
అసభ్యంగా మాట్లాడినప్పటికి తెలిసో తెలీకో ‘రామ’’రామ’అoటూ ఆ పరమపవిత్రమైన నామాన్ని ఉచ్చరించడం వలన వారికి
ముక్తి లభిoచిందట.
