ఉదయంతు శతాదిత్యా:

ఉదయంత్విందవ: శతం

న వినా కవివాక్యేన

నశ్యంత్యాభ్యంతరం తమ:

వందలకొలదీ సూర్యులుదయించుగాక . వందలకొలదీ చంద్రులుదయించు గాక. మానవుని హృదయాంతరాళాల్లో ఉండే అజ్ఞానమనే చీకటి కవుల మాటల వలన మాత్రమే తొలగిపోతుంది. ఇంకేమీ మానవుని అజ్ఞానాన్ని తొలగించలేవు.

उदयन्तु शतादित्या:

उदयन्त्विन्दव: शतम्

न विना कविवाक्यॆन

नश्यत्याभ्यन्तरं तम:

Let hundreds of Suns shine. Let hundreds of moons shine . But, the ignorance, hidden in the inner chambers of the heart of people, be dispelle d only by the words of a poet only.

But, words are things; and a small drop of ink
