సత్యం పలుక వలయును. ఆ సత్యమును ప్రియంగా పలుకవలయును. ఎంత సత్యమైన అప్రియముగ మాట్లాడ రాదు. అదే విధంగ ఇతరులకు ప్రియంగా ఉండాలని అసత్యం మాట్లాడ కూడదు. ఇదియే సనాతన ధర్మం .

सत्यं ब्रूयात्प्रियं ब्रूया

न्न ब्रूयात्सत्यमप्रियम्

प्रियं च नाsनृतं ब्रूया

देष धर्म: सनातन:

One has to speak the Truth. At the same time it should be pleasing. One should not speak the truth which hurts people. At the same time one should not lie to please others.
